I am a marketing specialist & graphic design artist who's spent most of my career in the not-for-profit industry. Being in the marketing field has allowed me to develop my natural talents, making me a fundamental component for project management and implementation. I have a knack for understanding human behavior and how it correlates to workflow. I pride myself on identifying breakdowns in communications and existing processes within departments or across several. 

In addition, I love creating, which has served me well when it comes to graphic designing. I've honed my skills over the last 12 years and appreciate the art of combining design, layout & messaging to create the perfect marketing piece.

Branding

​As any good marketer knows, a well-executed brand is critical. And having a well-thought-out brand guide helps to build trust with customers/members, the community, and employees. 

 

HealthCare Associates Credit Union had a strong brand and well-thought-out brand guidelines. What they didn't have was a modern brand guide that reflected this.

 

I was able to tie everything together for them, in addition to identifying some areas that needed to be outlined to help round out brand consistencies.

Community Events - Best Practices Guide

At Andigo Credit Union we attended several community events throughout the year and deployed many employees to them. We started to notice inconsistencies in the way we were presenting ourselves at each event. Because we were a new brand, we immediately developed a guide for all employees who volunteered to attend events. This provided them with a reliable source for guidance and it gave Andigo the consistent brand image necessary.

Website & Branding

I was referred to an up-and-coming designer florist in the Chicagoland area. She needed a website to direct clients to and it needed to be able to showcase her work, outline her service, and have a way to contact her for consultations. Thrive Floral Designs had a unique brand identity that they were passionate about. So my first step was to create a simple brand guide to help them stay consistent. Then using that brand guide, I was able to build out a website.

Credit Union Marketing

Being a marketer in the credit union industry required me to have a deep understanding of cross-functional efforts in order to facilitate & communicate the "big picture". It's rewarding to be challenged with providing industry, product-level & brand guidance, or clarification, where needed & to seek out necessary approvals so all my initiatives remained integrated, on schedule & to ensure key stakeholders remained updated & aligned. 

New Checking Account Product Launch

I served as the marketing liaison with product owners for Andigo's new checking account products — High-Yield Checking & Cash Back Checking

I created a Checking Account Comparison Chart for the branches to utilize when discussing the new products. It was important to provide the members with a clear visual of the difference between the different products.

What's Your Story? - Brand Campaign

After going through a thorough brand refresh, it was our priority to create campaigns that would build deeper connections with our members & communities. We wanted to empower our members financial wellbeing, so we set out to connect with them on a deeper lever so we designed & execute our "What's Your Story?" campaign.
